Devious Journal Entry

Wed Jun 3, 2009, 9:26 PM
There are certain conditions under which I type up a new journal. I haven't quite deciphered them all yet, but one that recently occurred to me is that I am always alone. There are certain activities you do with people, and there are certain activities you do without people -- journaling is one that is done without other people.

As well, I am tired. And busy -- things are going on in my life. Au natural, one needs something to journal ABOUT.

I think the most important factor for my journaling, though, is that something is about to change. If I'm lucky, I figure out what it is by the next morning, when I wake up and it has changed. I feel differently about something, or an ex has slept with so-and-so, or it's a holiday now, or I'm leaving for somewhere.

If I'm unlucky, the change takes months. I'm getting over someone; or not getting over someone; or someone is passing away; or someone is being born, either into the world or into my life.

That was random.

Anyways, I'm going to have to guess that this is one of those long-term things. I mean, it's possible I will wake up tomorrow and not be tired and that's all I have to look forward to, but honestly... where's the fun in that?

So, let's see.

Things with the ex (no Liz, not you) are going well. We talk too often, and want to talk much more often, but apparently that wouldn't be healthy. Mostly now we are trying to be happy with what we have, and wishing we could have so much more, but knowing we can't for a while. Ten years?

Well okay, that was easy. It's just, ten years is a long time to wait.

Excuse this post for being especially "myspace" this time around. In my defense, it is called a FRICKING JOURNAL.

Actually, I guess that jacket I'm sewing counts as art... it should be done, piecewise, tomorrow, but then I'll dye it and the dye takes 72 hours to dry, plus I'll probably need at least two angles and maybe be doing two coats... so give it another week.

There you have it. An update on art in my DA journal.

'Till next time.
